I'm a hot mess both in game and in real life. I didn't sleep at all last night after launch, and while I feel like I struggled with leveling a bit more than others who stayed up all night, I got it done in less than 24 hours. Let's just say I took a lot of little breaks! I couldn't decide what gear I would want to upgrade to either, so I have a mixture of ret and holy pieces. I never settled on a pair of ret shoulders, so I wound up with only one piece of gear still mogged at the end. Honey's gear is a little messy at the moment, and there's no way I'm going to change it till I get everything in order, but who cares. I feel a little accomplished!
I meant to post before the expansion came out about how fabulous I was going to look going into it, how I'd cleaned out my bank and brought consumables, felt prepared, etc., but that quickly changed. My gear was changed right away, my bags were full all the time, I did a juggling act just to get quest items, my consumables ran out, both hands cramped at several points, and towards the end I couldn't even think straight. I had a blast though for the first half, and while questing proved to be a little more challenging than I had anticipated, I'm excited for whats ahead.
Our first raid is in a week, and I've got a heck of a lot more to do. Dailies, professions, running dungeons/heroics to gear up, reading up on bosses, and possibly even leveling the toons I'm going to need to gather materials for my professions (definitely not excited about that one). While part of my bag space issues were hanging onto some items solely for mogging later, and I'm looking forward to either mogging or incorporating gear into sets, I'm probably going to have to wait for a bit before I can devote the time and effort it needs into it. For now it may just mean my coveted Tabard of the Lightbringer will see the light of day for a bit :p
Time for bed!
