Todays pvping inspiration was driven by the urge to mog a random cloth chest piece from my alt bank. I literally typed in cloth, checked the chest pieces, and this and one other stood out. I asked my buddy Prynne which one I should mog to, he said this one, and voila! I really like the colors of this robe!
This guy was super cute. I tried to stop and take a better picture of him, but it's pretty hard in a bg. :)
I have been pvping a lot lately with Aynslie. I spend a good chunk of my downtime between queues messing around with the transmogrification NPC. Sometimes I don't make it a night without changing her mog. I figure while I've been slacking on posting some of her more "official" sets, I could post her pvp sets. Kind of like in between sets! I'll post them as I do them between queues from here on out. Here's tonights!
Oh man, back to back posts! I really just wanted to share some thoughts on LFR gear/moggables.
I find that typically LFR versions of gear have a more appealing color scheme to me. There's usually something I can't live without in there! However, it's sometimes incredibly hard to get a particular piece or set. It can take weeks and weeks to get the item, on top of having people that aren't necessarily experienced with raiding that can make things more challenging. Trying to tough it up for two toons every week is challenging in itself. With the Siege of Orgrimmar instance being so long, I haven't even ran both every week on both toons like I have in the past. I just don't have time (I have to make time for pvping now hehe).
I'm incredibly dedicated when it comes to something I want though. While my guildies might think I'm insane for continuing to run LFR's week after week, I do it regardless. Aside from having something I really like in there, I also know that after the expansion is over those items with that color scheme will not be obtainable. That is a huge driving force for me. I may complain a ton while doing it in guild chat, swear like a sailor, and vow to never go again, but come Tuesday I'm excited to go and get the chance to get those things I want again!
P.S. I hate Immersius. He won't drop Honey's tank mace for a set that's waiting to get posted, and he won't drop Aynslie's bindings in LFR or Flex. That guy is a jerk!
I really suck at posting lately. So busy with work, raiding, LFR/Flex raids and now pvping! Here's a few pics. Some of Honey's set that she's wearing at the moment, I don't like it enough to post it on her page :p There's a few of Aynslie's current pvp set, my new mount and new pet from the Blizzard store!
Finally got around to posting! I put Fireburns and Shinfo up in the Local Mogs section. Also posting a picture of Aynslie in my favorite set of hers, using a different weapon since she has a staff atm. This set truly makes me happy and appreciate transmogrification because of it. :) Also posting a picture of my new friend Socks. For a very long time I refused to do pet battles, until Aellin bought me a spectral tiger cub. It took me a bit to level after that still, but once I did I took the initiative to get one of the only battle pet only companions I've wanted to get. He gets really big! I love my giraffe :) Thanks Aellin for my beautiful kitty (who is always out on Aynslie), without that gift I wouldn't have gone out and gotten Honey's new favorite pet, so thank you for both! <3<3<3
I thought I'd post some random pictures, since sometimes I forget about them after taking them for a bit!
My guild sucks at lining up for new boss kill shots. This was a spontaneous mount up in shrine after we all got our mounts for killing Garrosh. No one said we were doing it, or to line up nicely. It just magically happened, and was over with minutes after. Glad I took these shots when I did :)
Sometimes I stalk my buddy Prynne while he's afk to either show him a mog set or randomly abuse his toon with mine. I don't know why he chose to afk here this day, but it really made me giggle. Seemed so unlike him!
Total random shots. These make me smile :)
First off I want to apologize for being so lazy when it comes to putting stuff up or posting anything lately. Between a slightly busier workload, and trying to raid on 1.5 toons I've gotten a little bit lazier with my website.
I wanted to post the next bit a few days ago, but yeah. Thank you so much Aelobin for adding the MogIt Armory addon. Aside from it being a fantastic place to get inspired by random mogs, the featured section melted my heart when I saw it. Thank you so much!
Here's what Honey and Aynslie are wearing atm. Honey finally got Voldrethar, Dark Blade of Oblivion from Ulduar (it's the 2nd time she's seen it, the first time was when content was relevant). She's wearing the Commander's plate set since I thought it matched the color scheme very well. Her healing set is just the Jade plate set atm, but I've got the urge to change it. Soon! Aynslie got the Belt of False Dignity from Naxx, and I instantly mogged her into Queen Azshara's Dressing Gown. It wasn't until I got her staff that I fell head over heels in love with this set. Now I just want to afk on her in town. The other set posted is her PvP set. :D
I'm so happy! We finally killed Ra-Den tonight, and it felt good. We have a lot of melee in our roster, and needed to make sure we killed orbs asap, so I was asked to come in on my priest to help. I said yes since there's really nothing more important than killing the last boss of the tier no matter what. I wanted to make sure I was able to do my best even though Aynslie's gear is a bit behind, which meant I made the decision to race change from her beautiful Blood Elf self to Troll for more dps. I'll keep her troll for a while now, if not permanently. She's still pretty! Just not her feet...
A few weeks back we decided to go for the rest of the achievements for the Glory of the Thundering Raider on our alt run. With a lot of effort and perseverance, we got it! Thank you guys so much, I love my Pteradactyl (puh-ter-uh-dack-till). Ok so it's technically an Armored Skyscreamer. Extra huge shout out to everyone for having the heart and skill to do the Soft Hands achievement. That was definitely the hardest one by far!
