The moment I saw this sword I wanted it...ok mainly the heroic one since it's pink! During our raid last week I used a coin on Tsulong, not sure if I would be able to win one or not. There are a few items off the boss I'd like anyways so it's not like it was an all or nothing risk. Yesterday I was sitting in Orgrimmar and saw a holy paladin run by me with the LFR version equipped. I immediately whispered him, and was excited to know he had gotten it from LFR. To me that meant it was completely possible to win it from a coin. Our guild did Terrace first last night, and after we killed Tsulong I used a coin with high hopes. I pretty much pooped my pants when the roll said "loot" and the sword appeared in my bags. I immediately said something in guild and I think I said a bunch of excited things in Mumble, then made all of the mages jealous. "That's a mage sword!" "No it isn't, it's a holy paladin sword". I don't know if it's the model design, or the fact I've been using a mace for a while (although there was that short period of using an axe in Firelands), or the excitement of mogging something new, but I was incredibly happy.
We took a 10 minute break after Terrace, and I went to enchant my sword and mog it. I grabbed a Blade of Wizardry and my beloved/coveted The Turning Tide and ran to transmog it before break was over. To my dismay I got this message when I tried to mog each one: "You can only transmogrify an item to take the appearance of an item of the same type and slot". -.- I forgot about this. I haven't had any problems mogging maces that are one hand to my main hand mace. My sheer excitement quickly turned to dismay. I can work around it, but it narrows down my playing field quite a bit.
While I'm worried about my bag space again, and I have zero 1 handed swords laying around, I'm excited to do some mog runs in search of a perfect sword for an outfit. I may just use one of the new Pandaria green models since they look pretty cool. While it's not exactly matching, I like the pink version a lot :p
I'll post a picture of what I decide to mog for this outfit a little later! I have a few ideas in mind, I just have to get farming :D
*Edit* After a lot of debate, I wound up going with Jade Serpentblade. While it's not too flashy or as detailed for a weapon design as I'd have liked, I felt the style and colors suited this outfit best. I'll probably change my mind...but for now this is what I'll use!
